Hello! Rigafishing is created by two of us – Toms Klabis and Gatis Ernstsons. With fishing we are very familiar, because we do it since childhood. Some time ago we were fishing in shallow lakes such as lake Babite, Kanieris and Engure, have understood the nuances of perch and pike fishing, Gatis was also seriously commited to trolling. Since the new technologies appeared – Active Target, Megalive and Panoptix Livescope, we have became experts in Live fishing.

How ofter, where and how are we fishing
On average 130 days we are on water hunting predator fish, trophy pike and zander are caught regularly. In summer and Autumn season perch fishing is one that we love, because very often it is super active with a great amount of fish caught.
Most of the times we are fishing and guiding in Riga and near Riga waters – Daugava, Bullupe, Lielupe, Kisezers, lake Jugla and Baltezers, though, often lake Aluksne and Usma is visited. Sometimes kind of new lake is explored to change the environment.
Each fishing time we are looking for something new, experimenting and trying to understand what are the nuances to make the predator bite. The most important is not the lure, but to actually find the fish and provoke it to take what is on the other end of the fishing line.
Both of us believe that the boat equipment is very important – the set-up, calibration, settings – all of these are important for a quality time on the water. The trolling motor should stand on the anchor very well and not move the boat, sonar picture should be perfect to not miss any fish – these details pay an important role for catching more and bigger fish. We have used and understood pretty much all of the brands – Garmin, Lowrance, Humminbird and Minn Kota and we are able to suggest the best equipment for your needs and do a calibration and set-up in your boat.

Fishing in Latvia with a guide
Since 2023 we are active in social media, and already then a lot of people asked to go fishing together with us, to teach them how to catch a trophy zander or pike, or to teach how to fish with Live technologies. We have done some lotteries and those who won and came to us fishing – everyone caught some type of their personal best – let it be perch, zander or pike, and overall told they spent an excellent time on the water together with us.
In 2024 after very successful participation in the sport season and multiple podium standings – more often people asked to take them fishing together with us. Due to that – Rigafishing was born. Now there is possibility to go fishing together with us, for a fishing tour, fishing training, just cruising in a boat or asking for help on setting up boat electronics.
It does not matter if you have equipment of your own, or you will use the equipment provided by us – we will do our best to give you huge amount of new knowledge, catch your trophy and capture an excellent emotions from the fishing trip.

Predator fishing from boats since 2024 we are participating together, but already prior to that we had some notable achievements:
