Services – Best places for fishing in Latvia

You have an opportunity to choose from different fishing techniques that the Latvian and Riga waters can offer. Fishing technique and target fish is dependent on the season and our previous experience of when the particular fish is biting the best. For example:

  • May is the best month fishing for pike, both on Live technologies and classic.
  • June is a great month for catching pike in classic and zander with Live technologies.
  • July – October – best time for a perch fishing in different techniques.
  • Autumn is when the trophy zander and trophy pike comes out for a feeding frenzy.

In the fishing tour we will fish in an excellent fishing boat, guided tours are ran with a North Silver 585 boat that is equipped with 175 horsepower Suzuki engine, or Palmer 505 boat that runs 115 horsepower Tohatsu outboard. Both boats are equipped with Garmin Kraken trolling motor, 1 Lowrance and 2 Garmin GpsMap sonars that have Panoptix LiveScope transducers. Both boats are equipped to be comfortable in daily fishing and in fishing sport.

Catch a fish or time well spent on the water, to learn how to fish, how to use a baitcaster reel or learn some specific technique, fishing with Live technologies, in-depth knowledge of fish behavior or how to better set-up your own boat – all of that we can show and teach you. In the fishing tour we will pay undivided attention to you and you will have a possibility to ask any questions that you might have related to fishing and boat equipment. Regardless of wishes, we will do our best to ensure that the time you spend on the water with us is excellent and you receive great emotions. Prices are indicated for 6 hour fishing trip, but it is possible to make the trip longer for additional payment of 35eur per hour. You can choose from:

Fishing “Classic” and Live

Fishing trip is planned according to customer wishes. Most often at the beginning we are going to do some pike or perch fishing, depending on the season which fish is most active. We will teach you how are we choosing the right spot and why, and show you the techniques we use in these kind of spots. Next, when the darkness will come – we will go pelagic fishing with Live technologies – based on the season and customer wishes – either pike or zander. Of course, we are showing and if necessary teaching how to tie fishing knots, how to use and best throw with a baitcaster and provide insights into the different fishing techniques – let it be twich, jig, bigbite, Live or just the straight retrieve catching a pike or perch.
In May and late Autumn there are big chances of catching a meter (40 inch) pike, in warm Summer nights higher possibility to catch a trophy zander. In Summer months and early Autum – very active perch fishing with a lot of bites and caught perches.
If there is some specific wish to deepen knowledge in any of the parts – such as how to place a boat in fishing spot to catch more fish, how to use Live technologies, some specific know-how on fishing techniques or fish behaviour – all that we can show and teach you.
Fishing trip is 6 hours long, Live fishing time is dependent on the season.

Group or corporate event, bachelor party

There is a possibility to organize a group event – bachelor party, corporate event or friends “competition”. Together with our friends we can organize an event for up-to 15 people, or 7 well equipped boats with a captain. Prices are dependant on the event lenght, people count and necessary boat amount. Contact us and we will provide a price estimate.

Fishing, consultations and sonar set-up in your boat

We can provide consultations and training in your boat, we help with sonar set-up and settings, trolling motor calibration, boat ergonomics suggestions and answers on question like “how we would fish in your boat”. We are experts in most sonar and trolling motor brands – Garmin Echomap, GpsMap, Lowrance HDS Live and HDS Pro, Humminbird Solix and Apex, Garmin Kraken and Garmin Force and most of the Minn Kota models. Also Garmin Panoptix Livescope and Lowrance Active Target set-up.

– 200eur per 6h + 20eur/h for driving to a different place
