You can choose from a variety of fishing opportunities that Riga’s waters have to offer. The fishing technique and the target fish depend very much on the time of year and our previous experience of when these fish are best caught. For example – May is the best month for pike fishing, both with Live techniques and “classics”, June is great for zander fishing with Live technologies. July to October is an excellent time to catch perch in a variety of techniques. In autumn, September and October are big zander months, and from October until the ice freezes, big pike time.

Fishing “Classic” and Live
We’ll start the evening while it’s still light out and go for the “classic” fish of the season – pike or perch. We will teach and demonstrate how we choose a fishing spot and what lures and techniques we choose according to the water temperature and the current weather conditions. When darkness falls, we will switch to Live Fishing and catch your choice of either zander or big pike. Fishing lasts approximately 6 hours.

In May, early June and October until the ice freezes – we offer targeted trips to catch 100cm+ pike. This will be mostly Live technology and late night fishing. Fishing duration is around 8 hours.
